Middle Tennessee Public Purchasing Association Membership

 

MTPPA provides professional enrichment and leaderhip for men and women employed in the field of public purchasing.


Regular Member

  • All full and part time employees of public institution procurement and materials management personnel that spend the majority of their position’s time involved in public procurement or the materials management.

Student Members

  • Full-time college students not already employed full-time in a procurement and materials management position, with an interest in learning about public procurement, may hold membership in the Chapter at no cost, during their full-time collegiate career.

Lifetime Member

  • Previously active Regular Members who retire from public procurement are eligible for Retired Membership, upon approval of request by said individual, given to the Membership Committee.

Honorary Member

  • Conferred individuals who have made distinguished contributions to the procurement profession, or this Chapter, by majority vote of regular members

Affiliate Membership

  • Other non-profit orgs willing to share resources & expertise to support the Chapter’s educational, research & advocacy missions. Such orgs may qualify by paying dues, holding yearly sponsorships, reciprocally extending affiliate membership status to the Chapter or at the discretion of the Board.

Our goal at MTPPA is to provide the procurement professionals of Middle Tennessee with a one-stop resource to access best practices and research information, receive technical assistance and advice, in addition to networking with industry leaders and other professionals within the public purchasing field.
